samething happens with Jodha Akbar too..MUZ toh sherni hai..kyu Ki woh hamare yeha Ki hai..yeh ghar wala -baharwala mentality kabhi khatam nahi hoga..Yeha Ki logo Ki antar bhi bahut partiality hai..

Point !! His origin is an incidental. What he achieved is b'coz of his abilities. We make too much out of the INDIANNess if there are international achievers. Amartya Sen is a case in point, For God'ssake, are there no other educationists who can head Nalanda ? I do not understand this pedestal for Amartya Sen. But that's me.

I too dont like this over do of patriotism. A person's good or bad qualities doesn't depend on any country or religion. Thts my basic complain about JA. If there was a MP there was a bhatiyani as well; if there was a PRC there was a jaichand as well if there was a akbar there was a adham khan as well. Im proud to be an indian but tht doesn't mean other people don't have achievements or qualities. the achievementd r bcoz of their hard work nd dedication not bcoz of sny religion.

Adham Khan is a nobody - He is an Incidental for the topic we are speaking, IMO - When we speak of Akbar, we should speak of a Mughal King as Akbar and Adham Khan are not equals ; Rather the duties are so different for both.

If there was a Akbar, there was also an Aurangazeb from Governance perspective - An U turn.

And there was a Shah Jahan who killed all male members of his family as against an Akbar who time and again pardoned his relatives even though they were out to get him.

BK, Mirza Hakim are two powerful examples of how much Akbar was willing to go in giving respect to mentorship and family bonding.

Adham khan's lineage itself is not known and he being good or bad has no relevance for me especially when we speak about men like Akbar.

Ok my mistake. If there was a adham khan there was maham's elder son as well who served mughal empire for 40yrs.

How on earth do people fall in love with this reformer Begum Sa? I still can't figure out why Jalal is so madly in love with this self-righteous, eye-popping Begumsa, and now we have another fan. How much more unbelievable can JA become?
