Hope to do caps of last 2-3 episodes tomorrow.

Nandini's child marriage will be very bad. But was just thinking something different.

So far we have witnessed at least 5-6 child marriages in BV. Choti Anandi, Choti Gauri, etc. etc. Anandi's marriage does not count since it was the premise of the whole serial and all discussions are in fact around it.

But the later marriages of children who were saved by Anandi, Ganga, etc. etc. never threw up so much discussion on the forum. Discussions used to always be around how the child was saved, who saved the child, whether the action sequences were good etc. etc. "Child is getting married, Anandi or someone will save it...", "Recycling of track..." etc. etc.

Discussions never centred around the poor child because there was no connect with the child.

All of us feel for Nandini because she is Anandi and Shiv's child. And have strong connect with her. Which is why such pouring of emotions.

I wish that people who are watching the show in parts of India where such customs are still prevalent, introspect and take something from it for their own lives. If they feel for Nandini and Anandi and their pain at being separated from each other, they should also fight against the custom in their own homes, neighbourhoods and districts.

It is only when people are hit hard with such storylines, that there would be even a modicum of introspection as to what they are doing or allowing is wrong.

This is the first time I actually felt for child brides after Anandi.
In precap Nandini's tear filled eyes and confused face when she was looking at this husband and wife pair lingered in my mind for so long.
Just couldn't believe that they could only see a prospective bahu in that small baby who was looking lost confused missing her mother

any ranjhanna fans here? I could dislike sonam to eternity - but baam only this movie! for this one - there aint/ cant be another kundan-zoya❤️
aah if there is one lovestory I LOVEEE like anything - its this complicated movie and kundan's journey! issh! how many ever times I see this movie - the feels!❤️

and anybody feels that the second half is as amazing as the first one - infact I prefer the second half more than the first half - the political angle takes the movie to some other surface altogether from a normal lovestory😳

and the songs - phurr - one of the few movies where I feel the songs are so perfectly aiding the storyline!

and also - how many feel that zoya actually fell in love with kundan too - by the end of it, and that is precisely the reason she gifted him death?

Oh personally love it - and its a very different lovestory - ul love everything I think

direction - top notch
script - I love it - its like a reverse ramayan - how raavan becomes ram
acting - dhanush! DHANUSHHH! and lol sonam's career best and also the supporting cast is terrific - abhay deol - fantastic, swara bhaskar as kundan's friend oh u have to watch this lady - she is brilliant and that pandit friend of kundan - another gem!
music - sigh *RAHMAN SONGS* haaye!
climax - never seen a more powerful climax - I was left wondering with the dialogues - wow! when zoya says - maine jo kiya woh kyun kiya, yeh bataane mai saari raat guzar jaayegi
and kundan's death scene with his wish to again be born to die for zoya again! My My!

if I have to say two movies which touched me on some other level - its ranjhanna and highway😳

and yeah zoya is NO saint in this movie! she is probably more at fault than kundan - one of the most powerfully written grey shaded female lead! like a cleopatra/ noor jahan!
the way she manipulates her way around and causes destruction in her own life!

After watching, Highway and Lootera, am' not able to gravitate towards any other new Hindi movies.

But if you are putting this in the class of Highway, will def., give it a try.

Hiral, liked Ranjhanna a lot, mainly because of Dhanush and Abhay Deol. Dhanush amazed me with his versitality. Looked just like a gawky school boy in those tight school clothes and later looked older without much effort.

Loved the way he happily forwarded his cheek to get slapped😆. One of the cutest scenes was taking Sonam on Rickshaw ride.

It was a many layered movie. I am so not even a feather of a fan of Sonam🤢, here she was okay.

I dont think she started loving him in the end, but definitely her heart softened a lot.

That lady who was "fida" on Dhanush, wa such a firecracker⭐️. Felt more sorry for her unrequited love towards Dhanush than Dhanush's towards Sonam😆😉
