which century we live in and education does any good? believing and promoting such crap!

Education only gives you formal training in earning a livelihood. It tells you facts such as girls and boys are equal. Very few imbibe this teaching and think along these lines. Most not.

education cannot overpower the teachings you get at home or the atmosphere that exists in your house.

A boy may learn at school that both are equal, but at home if he is put on a pedestal and his sister made to serve him, what does he eventually learn...

There are any number of uneducated graduates around...who flash their degrees and jobs but treat their women and children shabbily.🤢

i agree Aarti to what you say...and i have seen these kind of things among my friends and family.

my friend had her goad bharai and her MIL did not allow to keep orange as it signifies daughter 🤢

and a supposedly well educated family...all into CA and MBA.

If Ganga becomes his equal he will have problems😆

Like he had with Gauri and to an extent with Anandi when she proved to be smarter than him.

May be this is something to keep the story going for more time and persuade people to stay back.

Watched Ashoka today. Felt very silly in the end for waiting to see in which Queen's chamber will Bindusara go to bestow his love🤣. And when he bypassed all their rooms, poor things, all dressed to the nines, were so disappointed😆. Kings really had such tough decisions to make in those days😉

Am wondering that were smokeless candles already invented back then. All these rooms are lit with so much fire, must be impossible to sleep or even sit amidst candle fumes...

Coming back to Anandi, she put her driver's life and also the family car at risk. What if something had happened to them. Bad girl...😡
