As far as I know , in brief , Diya bati's main theme was good . It's about Sandhya being an educated woman n having ambitions of being an IPS officer ( lady IPS officer, which is frowned upon in our country) . But somehow circumstances force her to leave studying n marry an unpadh gawar halwayi . & then , Suraj , in spite of being uneducated himself, supports his wife to continue her study n achieve her ambition. If they had shown just this , I guess even young generation could watch it 🤔 but they progressed the main story so slowly n putting in so much kitchen politics n family drama...now after almost 4-5 years (that's how long this show is running I guess ) Sandhya just joined IPS training camp 😳 so just imagine the pace of the show n how much other unwanted dramas must hv been there 🤣.🤣.
