I agree with Rishi. Actually all "days" are a sham. Why do we need any Valentine day, Mothers day, Fathers day etc?

I consider this as a marketing gimmick. I also feel it creates social pressure. People who lost their mothers, fathers or partners must feel bad on such days.

Respect, love and honouring relationships is an everyday duty. If you want to give a gift, give it any time.

Why designate days?

Good point about rave parties and other stuff that goes on in name of celebrations.

And Prashant Bhushan and Kapil SIbal were instrumental in getting her bail from SC.

Apparently the SC judge was in the middle of hearing another plea, but Kapil Sibal called him on the phone and argued for her on phone itself.

While the HC took 3 years to hear the case, SC thus prevented her arrest in a couple of hours.

Oh, and the govt of India at the time under Sonia, gave 1.4 crore of the taxpayer's money to Teesta Javed's NGO.

Kudos to our judiciary.😡
