Dogs were barking against Sikhs and trying to call all Sikhs and entire Punjab extremist. But no report when Sikhs from Khalsa Aid and Singh Sabha served langar to those stranded in Mumbai rains and also served langar and tea at Dadar railway station. Everyone was getting along so peacefully beyond caste, creed etc!

But such things won't be reported. 😡

There is also this famous Bhai Kanhaiya Ji Healthcare centre in Chandigarh which is run in a Gurudwara and provides free medical aid to poor people. It is run by a Hindu doctor. Urban Melange magazine has done a feature on it as well in this month's issue.

Yet so called national media be it Times Now or Open magazine or HT or IBN will only bark as if some great communal divide is there. 😡

They also reported Punjab won't observe Yoga Day though Punjab is very much observing it! Damned liars!

These guys are real terrorists and threat to peace and unity. Arrest them all and close down their channels that do nothing except spreading hatred.

I want to ask a question for debate here. I hope you all don't mind. Please share your honest views.

What do you think about migration?

Do you think Raj Thackeray is right in saying state migration should be regulated and controlled?

I'm asking because migration indeed changed dynamics in many states. I do not want to stereotype but it's true that migrants especially from UP, Bihar commit crimes and are responsible for rising crime graph. Often they take over informal jobs from natives who are left jobless. Or they fight with locals and disturb harmony. Migrants were involved both in Delhi and Mumbai gangrape cases. Just yesterday migrants from Himachal Pradesh fought with Punjabis and beat up Punjabi labourers at a construction site.

These are just few examples. Of course Constitution allows freedom to move, reside and work in any part of India but don't you think states should be allowed to exercise control given how diverse our populations are be it in habit, dress, language, religion, castes, beliefs, food habits etc?

I have read how, in past, bhaiyas (from UP) smoking beedis around Golden Temple used to cause communal clashes in Punjab and disturbed peace in state. (Smoking, drinking around holiest shrine was forbidden).

So what is your take? Not many take care of local laws, norms and sentiments when they move around.
