The fight between queens - saas bahu saga with a twist.

DABH on sitara and SJ's show - less likely to win the war of TRPs

As long as Ashoka does better than the last two shows of Rangeela that aired during BB slot that's enough to keep th channel floating in second position now with 4 of their fiction shows including BV doing well in prime time slots.

hello gals!!

wanted to share something...i was in Lisbon during Christmas and visited an Indian restaurant there...and guess what pic i saw in the restaurant.

yes, it was an Indian restaurant but this surprised me because normally you have pictures of bollywood celebrities or famous places of India!

just thought of sharing...

Finished MP , like Miller in it but could not appreciate serial overall.

It deviated too much from the original story. They have vanished Fanny's brother entirely from the narration , thus could not show the bonding btw them and also why it was so difficult for Fanny to refuse Crowford.

If I have not read the book earlier perhaps I would have liked it better.

BBC was at it's best in P&P's adaption ,characters and story remained true to the original. Except that famous lake scene they did not even added anything.

Now will watch 'North and South" first and will read book later.

Even I am not going to read 'Thousand splendid Suns ' on which Hasan Zaidi's next show is presumably based for the same reason.

This is the link, with which I watched 6 episodes...all the parts are only about 10 mnts long...but picture clarity is better and you do not feel as such any inconvenience wrt to continuity.

MP - as I said, I liked the series when i watched, as I didn't read the book by then 😆 and JLM as Edward is of course great 😳😆

North and South - Yeah, watch the series, and if you want, then go for the book 😉😆

Thousand Splendid Suns - not expecting any thing much, as its going to be a 'loose adaptation' ., and that too for a Hindi soap 😉😆

When and IF it starts, will just watch out for the performances... and continuing will depend on how I'am going to like it.

The book, I've just finished for the curiosity killed the cat 😆
