But look at the show now - no one is active in forum and people are fed up.

Shri, it all started with the exit of the head of the creatives, Palak Kapoor. After which, EK withdrew her name from the Credits as Karni Sena was not allowing her to release her movies in Rajasthan. So Zee was able to wrest much control over the show. And this followed with the fall out between the director and Paridhi. Any show is as good as its team. Once Palak Kapoor left, and SV was relegated to the background - making him direct very few scenes, the show started falling apart. EK does not have good writers nor a research team. It was EK's dream project once upon a time, and today it is a nightmare for her and the viewers alike

noor rose becasue of her intelligence and not because she was evil..she might be cunning but not cruel, and that is how she is shown in the serial as well cunning but good at heart whereas as ruk is shown more grey clever and calculative who knows how to keep her status in the harem and emperor's life!

Yes. I just watched Siyaasat. They have portrayed Noor as a lady who is unapologetic about her ambitions. For me it looked more like ambition, than love for Salim. She knows that Shehzada is a lover boy. Falls in love left, right and centre. But her conversation with Ruqaiyya gives her a pointer - If she needs to be relevant in her man's life, then her beauty alone will not do the trick.

I understand that Siyaasat is a fictional take, but the treatment is very realistic. Even fiction looks convincing and believable.

i agree to the last line that the approach is very realistic! i think it is too early to say if she had any feelings or it was lead by her ambitions only..lets see how it is revealed in the story!
