This is to inform everyone that effective 1st January 2015, the following consequences will take place for rule breaking as members have continued to flout the rules, despite numerous warning notes and PMs being issued for the same. This forum has reached a climax now, direct action will be taken to maintain forum decorum
1. Name Calling Contestants - Despite the DTs highlighting that name calling is strictly prohibited, members keep coming up with terms to mock or insult the contestants. This is the FINAL warning, whereby any term being used to mock/bash/attack or insult the contestants/members would get the post being trashed and members would face a direct WL raise for the same as this point has been raised numerous times in the previous warning notes.
2. Personal Attack/Personal Remark :
2a) Fangroup/Member Targeting - This has been informed since the inception of the forum that the forum is to discuss the show and its contestants rather than discussing the members of the forum. In a show the houses many contestants, each contestants would have their set of fans and members with various opinions of praising and criticizing the actions of the contestants. Opinions may differ BUT at no point one is allowed to make remarks about any members or fangroups.
Following are the examples: 'Haters will hate', 'Jealous Club', 'Gaugles', 'Fans of xxx always does this... etc', 'Bashers has nothing to do' and more are common lines which is widely being used despite all the reminders and warnings given.
If you don't agree to someone, agree to disagree in a polite manner. There is no need to address fans as "haters" or "losers" or anything else and there is no need to Moral Police anyone as we are here to take care of that.
2b) Celebrity Slander - Only the stint of the contestants journey in BB8 would be discussed and past life discussions would not be allowed unless it was brought up in the episode. With the introduction of the 'Halla Bol' concept, several Past Season contestants would be entering the BB House. Discussion on them shall be limited to their stint in the current season. The point of what they did in their previous season will only be allowed if they themselves brought up the point in the show. Terms or name calling given to contestants by housemate is only to be used in that particular episode and the usage of the word is not to be prolonged on every single topics regardless of offensive or not. Moreover, the rules of Bigg Boss Forum strictly DO NOT allow name calling contestants or comparing them to animals. As such, usage of terms given on the show would only be allowed IF the word was used in that particular episode.
For both 2a & 2b, while the DTs used to edit out offensive words/terms which is breaching the forum rules and sending warning for the same, henceforth the DTs would no longer resort to editing out these words. We have lives, and are not obliged to sit and edit everyone's comments on an hourly basis. Henceforth, any such comments will be trashed, and the offender will receive a straight hike in their WL.
3. Spamming/Chatting - The Live Feed Thread & Spoiler & Eviction Thread have been informed on its purpose. While no discussion is allowed in the Spoiler & Eviction, the Live Feed is only allowing limited discussion on what is being shown on the Live Feed at the moment. Do not turn the Live Feed into an AT or criticizing a contestant in this thread.
As for the DDT, members may bring in the point of the past ONLY as reference points to prove or make a point. The context of making such points are important. The DDT has been synonymous to numerous issues like name calling contestants, chatting or discussions of non relevant topics or attacking others for their opinion. Posts found to be doing the same would be trashed immediately. Also avoid quoting tower of posts. Use @ to reply instead.
4. Morphed Images/External Site Images/Posts - Morphing images and posting issues or posts from external site (Facebook, Twitter.. etc) is against India-Forum's rules. We have been lenient regarding the same, but given the rise in photo morphing under the guise of "fun posts" to amuse fellow friends will NOT be encouraged. Any such posts will be trashed, and the offender will have to face severe consequences, which may include a WL raise.
5. Development Team - Members are in the misconception that allowance is given more to particular fanbase but that is not true. The DT panel for BB8, have no affiliation to the show, contestants, or the host and as moderating, they keep neutral stand and go case to case basis. Action is taken purely on the merit of rampant rule breaking by members despite all the warnings and reminders given.
The DTs are also members like you and making posts mocking the DTs would result in straight WL Raise. Any issues or questions and queries to the DT are to be addressed via PMs ONLY, to maintain confidentiality.
Other reminders from the previous warnings given regarding Appreciation Thread and MIDsremains intact.
In conclusion, if members continue to flout any of the above, posts involved would be trashedand this would result in direct WL Raise and please note, there will be no warning PM issued beforehand as everyone is expected to be well versed with the forum rules by now.
