u are right but shes tolerable... and yeah she falls short in comparision to other actors.. but powerful script and realistic approch makes her tolerable ... and akbar was really shweeet 😉

Yup she's tolerable, but if this is how she journeyed through Nissa to Noor, in the book...then even the book didn't have guts to make her grey, sometimes darker shade of it, cunning...etc. Then we can't blame even other Mahaan ladies ruling Telly...or rather the creatives who etch out these mahaan characters. Even Indu doesn't dares to make her heroine cunning, grey (light-dark), with go for kill attitude, manipulative. It will be sheer luck for Nissa to become Noor...and after that she may show lil brains...but then it'll be not worth it...is what i feel.

yes in the first book she wasnt shown as grey or completely white but she was potrayed as ambitious... and even i think that she was a ambitious lady and being a lady and on top of that ambititious, made her a grey character thats what i feel... but in india audience are not mature enough to handle grey character of leads thats y they are manipulated into something likeable... and also i dont understand that y one character has to be shown extremely evil inorder to make the other character likeable... years ago i saw akbar khans mvie tajmahal , noor was potrayed as a complete vamp to glorify arjumand... she was scheming and plotting to kill arjumand and mahabat khan was shown as her secret lover... and it was disgusting... i mean yeah noor was manipulative and ambitious but yet she was a loyal lover and never did she plot to kill anyone...

and i would admit she lacks depth of noor's character !!!

OMG! now this is called real passionate scenes😳..i loved ali quilli's and nissa's scenes and cannot wait to see nissa and new salimsa's scenes☺️..imagine that! it would have been a treat to watch rajat perform such scenes as he gives mind blowing expressions but not possible now..better luck next time😉..and that actor acting older akbar is a dynamite👏

shivi the show is becoming my darling and yes i agree with new salim it has added a new dimension i think the older had his own charm but he was more suited for romantic types roles but the new one looks like a rugged warrior which he will become once the father son fight starts in real sense!

🤣..that was classic! i loved his bekraari in shooing everyone away when he wanted only to be with nadira and omg falling in love at this age😉😆

shivi cannot agree more! the approach is very realistic and even if it is NR it still touches your heart and i too find charu shankar not up to the mark compared to the other performers but still she is tolerable and we can ignore certain short comings! but am loving salim akbar and that ali quilli scenes😆

you do have a point there mishti, they are showing her subtle rather than a go getter but then that is how she was written by indu and i guess they are following the book as far as her characterization is concerned and also i do not remember reading about nadira, there was only a brief mention of her towards the end but nothing more and here they have added an interesting spice by making both father son compete for nadira😆
