Barun is the sweetest, loveliest man I have ever met. Seriously, his wife is blessed. He's a gem. I adore him off screen and On Screen. We have great chemistry on screen, we work well together, we improvise a lot and we work off each other in a very constructive manner. He's an adorable guy. I see why so many women love him. He's not only a cutie but also so sweet and simple. A great actor to work with.

We improvised a lot on the set together. In fact, in the promo when you see me telling him - Napkin on your lap, elbows off the table, don't fold your arms; and then he says Saas le sakthe hain'? That's all improvised. My mom used to be like that with me with the elbows off the table, napkin on my lap bit (laughs) I come from a strict parsi merchant navy background.
My character is very dominating, was fun to bully Sukhi (winks) that's Baruns character in the film.

Tell a bit about your role in the movie Main Aur Mr. Riight'?

I like the character I play. It's fun to be her. I wish I was like her. So organized, perfect and so sorted. The script was light, breezy rom-com and I felt I could breathe life into it. It had soul in the script and wasn't all fluff. One of my closest friends Sonia is like Alya.

She's perfect from head to toe. She plans things two weeks in advance. She has her outfit for the whole week picked out 3 days ahead. She does 3 gym classes on Saturday and then gets her hair blown out. She's extremely successful and self made. She's Ms. perfect.
And she wants a perfect Man. She has a long list. 6'3. Six pack, must play an instrument, must be self made, must dance the Salsa... and so on... I always tell her there is no such man. Just like Alya's friends tell Alya in the film. And then Alya does something to prove a point.
At first I found that unbelievable but then I asked Sonia and she said she would do the same thing! That's when I said yes to the film. That's how I found inspiration for my character.

@Seren, I agree with what you say on the MM trying to reach out to non Barun fans/online people too... more to the general public who are not swayed by Barun madness😆 Pubs are a good place to promote now a days!
