It is an expected fact that he will get her back the ring., no suspense about it...it happens every where, But what makes this show a class apart are his words to her, while giving it back to her.
" You consider yourself a heroine " ?...A devi ? mamta ki murat ?
Who am I ? What am I to you ?
A neighbor who is a drunkard !
And for such , no one mortgages their jewellery, and this piece is a token of your dead husband's love !
You have behaved not only foolish but also childish...even more childish than Najma !
Pls do not repeat such acts ! "

And when Mariyam was flabbergasted at his "daant" , he again went on saying, pls take this, I cannot hold this for so long...then went on taking her hand into his, and dropped the ring there in to her hands 😆
All she could say is to Thank him, he has saved her today from a calamity 😆
The scene followed by Imraan - Maamu convo at his home - One of the masterpieces - shown us in a nutshell, how genuine and a good human / Man Imraan is ⭐️
The reasoning he gave to Maamu on getting the ring back to her -
"I haven't done this for the fear of Younus - I never really care for his existence 😆
I have done this to retain the sanctity to Mariyam Bi's emotions.
I know, what value the tokens of loved ones have once they are no more ( looking at his daughter's photo ).
They should not be in a mortgaged condition.
And that ring has beautiful memories of her dead husband, whom she is still fondly in love with. If I did not return it back to her, I can never meet her eyes again !"
On a concluding note - he says ,
"All the while I was getting defeated by the world, but today, I got defeated by myself., I got defeated by her goodness, I'am ashamed of myself ! "
