Shagun should have got her sister involved in her plan and waiting till after the wedding at least.
There is nothing mahaan in not letting justice happen and being degraded before everyone.

Veera ending ? Good news.
Just like Ecri I too was waiting for the new chat group. I tried the link in the morning and it was not working😆

I thought my net devta is playing the old trick again.

BTW Australian played Hughes passed away. What a tragedy ! At the age of 25 a player dies because he was playing.

May his soul rest in peace.

I am amazed his helmet did not help. Cricket balls are very heavy despite their size, throw it with a lot of force like from a bat and it is a very dangerous thing to have coming at you. Poor guy.

Hello Everyone.
Hughes dying was a really shocking news.
It was one of those freak shocking incidents that happen once in a century.
Hudges has an old helmet which missed some part of the protection. the newer helmets would have really lessened the damage.

Also the bowler must be in shock living woth the guilt of this accident.

No doubt. Anyone would be. Why did they not give the new helmet? Should all players not have up to date helmets as per rules or are they not in the rules. You are right though, such things do happen with no warning. I like your tribute siggie.

Its about the comfort level of players. Players chose thier helmets themselves. Recently Stuart broad played with older helmets and a ball sneaked in and broke his nose. Then he had to change his helmet. Thanks, Thats why My DP is Black.

The siggie is perfect.
I guess it is the comfort of the players but they should consider a new one and find one of those that is comfortable for them I think. Just as a precaution so they can continue playing cricket. I've played with a real ball and the bruises. Oh man! That hurt! Plus that was not even a super fast bowler coming at me and I did not put in much power in my batting as some of the professionals can do. Maybe they will think about the rules in the wake of this incident.
There is danger everywhere though and no one knows when someone will pass away so you can't blame anyone. My thoughts are with his family. Must be hard on them losing someone suddenly.

Yes The real ball hurts a lot. I have played it too. You played cricket? Just casual or some school or college level? Yes there will sure be a massive change in the rules after this, more so the bowler will be more afraid to bowl a bouncer.
@last para: True. People have got hit more worse than hughes but they survived and hughes died.

I played school level and a long time ago. Discovered I had a talent for a sport at last. We even won medals - my first gold medal in sports. Could not play any of the other sports as well 😆
Wanted to join the college one but could not unfortunately but will find a way to return to hitting sixes - but non competitively. Also want to try archery as well. 😊
The ball was brought in by a team member and we tried it out in practise before the actual match but the bruises were still there. There is a reason they have padding in the real game.
The effect on the bowler is going to be huge. Hope it does not affect his play. The family should reassure him though.
Definitely. Heard of a guy playing football. He was 18 and just fell down on the pitch and died there. Totally healthy. Turned out he had some undiagnosed heart problem that caused it. Else he was totally fine before and no one noticed anything previously as he was completely healthy.
