1597 marriage means - He is 55 years old - and the girl could not have been more than 20 in any case. This is very disappointing friends - After all the laws he passed, he marrying someone old enough to be his daughter !!! 😕

exactly..it was the court of the wise ...the way they sat ..below the Emepror and thier posture and Abdul penning down the proceedings...khaane khana ,nine gems..daniyaal murad ..everyone even salim is a charmer...he is not bad but trying to live upto his father ..very well written characters...and the harem is so beautiful ...and the entire set is so well kept including the gardens...ruqaiyya there is grace personified..she is so strong,practical yet her love for salim is so obvious...am waiting to see jagat now 😆

Yeah. I don't think they shot in Bombay. Who has read the books on which It is based?

haan it has not been shot in here in Bombay but i think it has been shot in Rajasthan...i have read the books ...the triology ..it is an amazing read and hence this interest in the adaptation ...and since they are not vying for trps and it is a finite number of episodes..hence know the quality and the story and character will never be compromised...

Heard they are shooting in Jodhpur palace - But i find DEK reflecting HINDU sensibilities and Architecture. WOuld have preferred a Mughal feel to DEK . Remember what Ela had posted as Fatehpur Sikhri photos ? They are a mix of Mughal and Hindustani architecture.

Salim's dielemma is very fascinating - What a torture it must have been to be living under a larger than life father who is an exemplary emperor surrounded by Navratnas .

Interesting angle of Rahim marrying his daughter to Daniyal.

Also heard that Aziz's sons married one of Akbar's daughters or vice versa ? Adi - Are they sambandhs ? Aziz Koka and Akbar .

Wiase Noor and Salim are also sambandhis . 😆😆😆
