Rather if it was without lectures, it would have been better - Remember a Sunil Dutt - Waheeda Rehman movie where he is a dacoit ? She reforms him without long lectures.

PT 3 - All Akbar's achievements made as JO's achievements.

PT 4 - I cannot recollect one thing she has done for the love of AKBAR without mixing it with noble intention(s) of her like slavery removal, Jaziya etc except prep of LEP.

Physical intimacy restrictions is one thing - She is even mentally afraid of showing excitement, joy, ecstasy of an emperor falling in love with her - Again this could be due to the fact she is from a non-filmi or non-art family. Her range is extremely limited in display of subtle romantic expressions. That makes most of the scenes very flat. However exemplary Rajat is, it still does not fill the void.

I found RT-LT scenes much more natural, their limited physical touches to be much more appealing. Even ATIFA hugged him very well - Can you all imagine how the towel scene would have been done by JO ? The scene where she wipes off his sweat after sword practice.

There is no doubt that MUZ has indeed been very special - To have married into a diff religion , survived, had the guts to run some trade and be such an imp chief Queen. She must have been tactful. Who likes a Queen who at the drop of a hat comes to Emperor with a silly complaint ? Rather she should be extra careful in that alien environment not to antagonise any of his family, relatives and Ministers. She must have proved very smart in front of Akbar as he has liked positive people always.

EK's serial is a far cry from what the original love story would have been. Infact it would have been all the better if he was shown to be having a normal life with both RUKS and Salima but extra special love to JO.

jaya well said! and your view on her lep specialty cracked me up😆..i wish that there would have been another actress who had a strong chemistry with rajat on and off screen so that we could have seen that comfort level..but unfortunately the love story was left half baked due to her restrictions..and yes lavi and smiley both had wonderful chemistry with rajat and i miss SV's direction..he made JA rock! since he has left i do not see the same quality in the show!

adi, ekta is only capable of showing a woman strong if she rebels her husband and not walk hand in hand with him..only if a woman shoves his opinions down her husband's throat and not tactfully make her husband understand..only if a woman pops her eyes with ott anger and keep physical distance other than making her husband at peace in her presence...ekat has her cliched way of showing woman power which according to me is foolish..as they say if u keep a man on the back burner the man will take 10 steps backward and sometimes its too late to fill those gaps..and i think she is sending wrong message to all the young girls who have yet to start their life and will feel powerful in being rebellious😕

jaya i respect all three khaas begums of akbar because i respect him...and bashing any of his begums and linking reel with real would be an insult to the emperor and we cannot judge by a serial or some writings..only they know what happened and history will always remain a mystery!
