Yes mostly. Altough my parents never forced me to study something. 😆 Mom wanted that i become a doctor. I gave the PMT exam and missed cut off by 15 marks, didnt try again joined Zoology hons in a college, left it in 1 year and then joined IT. 😆 The music is mindblowingly brilliant and still used in many places. Also there is a local connect for me to it because the story was based in Jamshedpur.
LOL i can write an essay about this film. 😳😆

Yes, see many boys like that where parents force them to study something. Nothing as extreme as shown in movie but very much like that. Infact during 12th my class had only 15 boys out of 40 students and apart from 4/5 rest were forced by parents to study biology. 😆

Okay so watched Pukar yesterday and to be frank as Deven Bhojani's creation the show was a big let down.
The first scene explains what Bhojani meant when he said its a man's show.

An army officer is trying to save the honour of a girl. Its a busy street and a rainy day to add the woe The man thing here is that the cars, the buses and the people are moving normally while this man fights at least ten goons in one go. . THe bus didn't bother to stop until its windsheild was broken by the hero. But the bus only stopped. No one came out of the bus, no crowd was seen and no other voice was heard. After the fight was over the goons ran for their life and the traffic went on as usual.

Cut 2: The father's birthday. I wonder what was Bhojani htinking about his manly audience. The father blames his eldest son for losing his younger son ?

Its his birthday and we find him celebrating it with his wife and his youngest son. We also know it was youngest son's plan to arrange a small family celebration.Suddenly our hero appears and the father is upset with his presence. Thus, we get a flashback where we see him disinheriting his own son following a very emotional speech. This much was understood.

Then the same man is celebrating his birthday in a posh party ( Yes, this sad man) dancing, singing, laughing while his eldest son is celebrating his father's birthday all alone perhaps in his own home. So, this man is sad but has move on in his life but won't let his own son to forget the past ?

Yeah pressure is there. My uncle forced both his boys to join army.

Parents force both girls and boys to do things they feel are right. Child has no true freedom.
