Anyone saw Everest last night? One hour episode ... the initial mountain shots were breathtaking ... reminded me of Into Thin Ice. The lead actors are very raw ... the girl's back story was disappointing, I expected more ... the guy's story was interesting. Let's see ... it's an AG show, don't know how much input he has ... he made SRK actually ACT in Swades ... but don't know how much direction he is doing here.

*edit* - Mohit's show ... don't know when it will start, Sony has all new shows on air right now, and two more new ones already lined up for when KBC ends ... the Ronit Roy one and the Kinshuk-Shefali one. Will depend on which of the new ones perform the worst, I guess 😛 ... Sony shows anyway don't last longer than 6-8 months on average. Except MP ... is that still doing well after the leap?

Ashish is also keeping his mooch so I guess its for ashoka 😆😆 well if our guess is correct than he had played chandragupta maurya andnow will play the grandson 😆 . It will be a big ticket show , so I guess good for him or whosoever plays ashoka ...

Didn't see everest yesterday diya but recorded it ...will watch it today ...

Sony has 7.30 pm free right now ...some cricket show is coming there so maybe mohits show will take that slot ...MP donot know ...mira sees it I think ...

MP ... I know many people were dissing the grown up Pratap, but I liked his look ... don't follow the show so no idea about his acting. I'm not so interested in historicals ... I prefer mythological shows.

Sony has a problem ... their promos look good but the shows are disappointing ... I was watching KBC the last couple of months quite regularly, saw the promos of Hum Hain Na, Humsafars and ISK ... decided to check them all out ... all fell flat.

Correction .. Humsafars, even the promos fell flat 😛... too much deja vu of the earlier shows, and the girl is bad.

I will check out the Ronit Roy show, but again, the FL is weak ... and they have five kids! That's going to be a weird story!

Gustakh Dil was a decent show ... I followed it off and on for a long time ... the actors were new, but good, the girl has a spark. It's had a very decent run.

Phew ... an end to the Sanaya drought ... or at least, a mini break. This gap is tough to take ... and it's not even been a couple of months!

Lovely pics ... Sanz is looking relaxed and happy ... I like her outfit ... simple and striking!

I hope she's getting as bored of her break as we are! 😆 Need to see her back soon!

Neha and AB are looking sweet ... so happy at this new phase of their lives. Abhi smile kar lo, bacchon, when the baby arrives, life will change completely!!! 😆

On another note ... Jaya Bacchhan dissed HNY as one of the most 'nonsensical movies' she has ever seen.

That's calling a spade a spade with a vengeance 😆

I'm not commenting on the movie, as I haven't seen it ... but it's these nonsensical movies which make the most moolah these days ... star power, escapism, whatever you may call it. A lot of them come on TV within a few months ... so obviously they don't have much staying power. Whatever money they make, they do within the first few days, till the next big release comes along.

In other tv land news ...EHT is ending in dec ! Thats gives it an 8 month run ...this was a finite show but supposed to last a year !

The director and some actors tweeted and confirmed the same . I went to the forum...for once fans reaction was what I expected ...they are very upset . As it had lots of loose ends and they cannot fathom how in the next 5-6 weeks , the show willwind up . They wanted it to last a year ...

This was a different show and very well mounted ...trp's didn't come ...then the focus became saas bahu nok jhok ...the trp's got better ...yet a premature ending !

Its a real pity ...channels do experiment with new concepts but expect the same trp's ...as saas bahu shows ...thats not going to happen especially with the skewed 8000 household trp collection system !

EHT did very well abroad again ...

She has some serious anger management issues 😆 her rants are getting a bit much ...

I read somewhere that movie going with increase in ticket prices is becoming an expensive form of entertainment for most ...as ppl go in groups to watch a film ...so its largly stars only who attract ppl to actually come and watch their movie ...

Thats why even well made and well reviewed films but with no star power are not working in the halls...ppl will wait and watch them on tv ...
