Loved what Sanaya said! Although people think men and women have a equal position in society it isn't true. It is a male dominated society and men and women have completely different struggles.

Thankyou akshay and mohit to have finally spoken some sense and actually spoken abt the event FINALLY .

thankyou sanaya ...that you made the effort to dress up correctly for the occasion and spoke your heart out abt womens empowerment . You didnt role straight out from the bed ...to the extent that journos were left wondering abt your appearence and you were " happy to be there " 😕

From this video I gathered abhaas's gf zenia arranged this event and sanaya and others interviewed various ladies and read abt their inspiring stories , finally selecting the candidates who got the scholarships.

Good work done .

The inteactions with the tv media ie TC , IF , SBS etc were frivolous with comments like " he is a drug addict ! " , " ipk reunion etc nonsense " ...but this was a good job done by all concerned.

Ditto to your last ... this video should have been released first ... not all that IPK reunion nonsense.

Akshay spoke well... Mohit basically repeated Sanaya's words ... Barun as usual had nothing substantial to say.

Sanaya spoke very well, her words were genuine and from the heart ... she was happy and humbled to be there ... something I understand, working with the underprivileged myself ... and I was very happy and proud to hear her speak with so much feeling for the work they were invited for, especially because its something I feel very strongly about. As a woman, she was understandably more empathetic to the issue of gender inequality, and the push for women's education ... again I'm glad she was invited for this cause and chose to be a part of it.

Would love to know who did this byte as it is quite obvious the questions asked were regarding the cause , the scholarship etc . Sanaya spoke the best and she is extremely articulate so does not surprise me . It was also heartfelt ...she is a working woman and though comes from a previlaged background , must have her share of struggles as well as biases felt ...all woman irrespective of strata face it , especially in our country .

This is the only video where akshay and mohit conducted themselve correctly ...maybe it has something to do with the kind of media they faced , who knows .

Barun looked totally disinterested , bored , spoke better in the other bytes then this one 😕 . Also the way he dresses up for public functions , uncombed hair , torn jeans is disrespectful to the host / organiser ...he is not a college student for heavens sake but a 30 plus man !

Anyway not every interview / byte is to find things to bash abt actors or should I say actress you dont like 😆😆 at the end of the day the 4 of them chose to be associated with this cause particularly and that is to be applauded and appreciated .

I'm appalled and very disturbed at some of the headlines today ...had to share them here .

71 year old nun gang raped in West Bengal.

Rati Agnihotri files a case against her husband for assault.

Top DD official accused to sexual harassment.

Is women's education and empowerment the only answer? Part of it is ... the other part seems to be MEN's education ... men seem to be anchored in the Dark Ages ... either that, or they are nervous at the prospect of their comfortable position at the top of the hierarchy of the patriarchal system being overturned ... and their only way to counter the threat is to reduce women to the position of sex objects and/or producers of babies to keep the 'vansh' going. A stand helped by many women themselves. 🤢

Someone has posted the news on rati agnihotri filing a case against her hubby in bollyforum and one member from australia / newzealand has written that she met the couple abt 10 years back or so ...and seeing her husbands behaviour is not at all surprised that it came to that 😕 god alone knows how long was rati taking this crap before she had enough !

She has a grown up son tanuj who has come in a couple of movies himself ! Its plain disgusting !!

The nun rape case is beyond comprehensible !! I didnt even read the details in the paper ...I couldn't .

I seriously donot know whats happening to our country and the social fabric and where are we going from here . I see no light at the end of this tunnel .
