In every damn show they want romance and saas bahu!

Why same old stuff everywhere?

Ashoka serial will be a bigger abomination than that flop Asoka film. They will somehow get saas bahu and polygamy drama there too. I bet spiritual transformation will not come or will be finished off in a jiffy.

I was a fan of historicals in childhood. But new ones just make me throw up!

I miss historicals on DD! 😭

For TV viewers a hero is not someone who has heroic qualities but hero is actually the love interest of the heroine.

Thus, people tried to figure out if Aakash loved Durga because he was helping Durga all the way.

I never watch historical shows because they have no idea what they are trying to potray. SRK's Ashoka( Movie) was also a disaster. Ask these love seeking idiots to figure out Patliputra or Kalinga on a map. I bet they have no idea where these places are,

Jodha Akbar ? Jodha Akbar never had a love marriage. The marriage was always because of political reasons only. According to historians, AKbar loved his first wife and cousin Ruqaiya Sultan Begum.

This Rajputana - Mughal alliance was important. Akbar with this policy own over most of the Rajputs. It helped in his territorial expansion. One important thing that Akbar realised that it was not possible to rule the Hindustan without pleasing the majority who were the HIndus. Thus, this alliance helped him a lot. He also opened important offices for Rajputas. Todarmal was the one who was responsible for a sound economic condition of the Mughal Empire.

Guys I like romance. But when it gets cheesy, it makes me want to throw up. I especially hate it when they mix up genres. If a theme is romance then let it be what it is. Don't spoil it by mixing thriller/suspence or vice versa.

That is what is wrong with Indian Television. All want a cocktail of mixed genres with top one being dramas.

Saas-Bahu should be a trope, what do you guys think?

Exactly, even I like romantic shows but not all shows with romantic angle. Make one IPKKND to show love, make one YRKKH to show saas bahu but make one Arjun to show only revenge and make one EHT to show woman empowerment only .Why mix up romance there ?

really an achievement 😳, wat groundless, illogical, unethical things they show. marry divorce, marry divorce some athma have occupied the lead heroines body, one lady gets a mask prepared of another face 🤪

I have seen so much of romance inserted in every show and film that I just throw up now. Same old hackneyed scenes. Sidetracking of story.
Not to mention how unrealistic it is.

Girl keeps falling all the time and hero somehow appears to catch her. 15 minutes of 30 minute show wasted on eyelocks.
