Awww. Don't feel too bad. Rewatch Sakshi again and I'm sure all the people might migrate to here or some other show that might turn up. Sometimes you get a decent one in a crop of terrible ones. Too bad shaks isn't here to make you happier. I think you need to make a meme about EHT ending or something. Maybe that will make you feel better.

@arya u Kniw I hate sarees ...😆

Anywwy wht I meant was the old n saw type of ppl of they don't see DIL in saree they get heart attacks n done watch show's n which means no TRP n so the channel uses the old n said formulae 😭

Btw ppl also feel tht showing n wearing modern stuff is incorrect

I feel like pulling out my hair ..

@anu: dnt lose heart...the show was finite, we knew tht..its wrapping up quickly coz the star channel sucks...they are a stupid group of people who understand the potential of the show..we are all still here..we will have intelligent conversations here, dnt worry...and we can always discuss the earlier episodes and the plots of the show..reminisce abt it, u know..

I like sarees (they are very pretty) but I loathe to put one on. I once tried it for a wedding I had to attend to and boy did it not work. I don't think I want to try that again. Admire from a distance.

I don't see the problem. The bahu wears dresses before wedding so she can wear them after.

Modern does not need to be incorrect. I'm not asking everyone to walk around in mini skirts, just more practicality sometimes. Plus models wear very strange creations sometimes, there is no need to be shocked about it. But everyone is different and some may find it offensive. If sarees work for them then fine. I just find it strange when you have big headlines this and this person is going for a modern look. okay why not. what's the problem. but like you said, old formula and TRP getter.

You can wear whatever it is you want in your own house (obviously with no important guests and hence you'd be appropriately dressed) and I don't see why anyone needs to worry. The clothing on TV shows have rarely undergone a revolution. Sakshi's was nice and sophisticated. You could walk around with that in high society but others. I wonder how they afford all that gold and live in large ancestral homes when they have jobs that usually (no offence) seem to be that extremely well paid. It's probably gold plated.
