Parineeti keen to act in regional films

Chopra wants to hone her acting skills by working in movies in different Indian languages

Parineeti Chopra is five films old in Bollywood and she has been lauded for her acting skills on several occasions. While the actor feels that she has found her place in the industry, she has new aspirations now. Parineeti wants to improve her acting skills further by venturing into regional cinema. "I have been experimental since the beginning of my career. I want to do regional cinema now as working in those films will be a whole new challenge for me. I will be able to explore myself as an actor and will get to learn different languages," says Parineeti.

The actor, who hails from Ambala (Haryana), feels that acting in Punjabi movies will not be as difficult for her as films in other regional languages. "As I can speak Punjabi, it will be easier for me," says Parineeti, who wants to do more good films.

"I want to hone my skills to become the best actor that I can be. I want to work in 1,000 more films and deliver great performances," she says.

While Parineeti's next will hit the screens soon, she tells us that she hasn't signed any other Bollywood project as of now. "I have been getting offers, but the scripts are not exciting enough. So, there is no film in my hand currently. I don't want to do a film just for the sake of it. I will have to wait for my next film to release to see if anything interesting comes up," she says.

While Parineeti is particular about the roles she takes up, she explains that she is not awaiting a film that will give her career graph a sudden boost " something like Alia Bhatt's role in Highway or Sonakshi Sinha's character in Lootera (2013). "I have done roles that were performance-oriented. Alia, Sonakshi and many others were doing all kind of films, and hence, were waiting for that one performance-oriented character. But, I started my career with one such role. So I am not waiting for a career-defining film now. But I will always accept good films with demanding performances."

and kill dill looks annoying and bad if ranveer continues to do bakwaas like this as well...I feel bad for that too...genuinely ranveer is a good actor,...but his releases this year - gunday and kill dill are just 😒

Ya, what happened to Parineeti?? She is or was really good. But the other day was watching Daawat-e-Ishq on TV and changed channels after 10 minutes. Could not stand either her or the hero. Something is very wrong with whatever she is doing. Actually not many good movies are being made either.

so the year for our actresses...there is no clear winner like Deepu last time😛 and deepu is so out of the race for this year😕

People are making movies on a concept without thinking things through in the name of new-age cinema. If you put in the same old nonsense of so many songs, dances, item no. etc etc. the it is just old wine in new bottle.

Agree Alia Bhatt is much much better, in all departments, looks, acting, media management. Coming from a dysfunctional family probably helped her gain immense inner strength, thick skin and staying power.

But cannot stand Shraddha Kapur🥱. Sorry Aditi😉

shraddha's dialogue delivery is beyond annoying, plus she is just so blank my god😵😕 I found A2 bearable becoz of ARK alone...

pari was just stupidly stuck with YRF...and YRF has been churning out rubbish since Bunty aur babli days..or when did it ever churn out good stuff...except a DDLJ i m particularly not fond of any movie thats come out from them post that😕

and Yash chopra - well I liked daag with rajesh khanna and thats about it...dint like lamhe, silsila or kabhi kabhi or JTHJ or veer zara...😕

Well in Ek Tha Villain she was pure bad...in A2 ...I simply can't bear her
