As you said Asher was flawed , one moment I feel like slapping him for his cold refusal to listen khairad and at others all the anger for him melts away when watching his pain and later his sincere efforts to make things right for his daughter and wife.
- same here😳 he did inflict lot of pain...both on his wife and the viewers too😭 but his efforts to put things back right deserve appreciation as well😳
Agree with you that Khairad should have understand his discomfort around Khaizar or Khaizar's liberal and misplaced praises . She could have put a brake on that even if Asher's objections were not in picture.There is a difference in btw being 'masoom' and dumb and she came out little dumb there. Otherwise she was shown intelligent then why can not understand change in Asher's behaviour and it's possible cause. Only explanation can be that they have shown her a big hearted girl , never objected Sara's proximity with Asher or felt insecure because of that so perhaps can never think from Asher's perspective.
After saying all this I still feel Asher was unjust there. If she cant understand why not give a direct hint if he has so much hurt by Khaizar's behaviour. Poor Khairad was asking, begging for reason behind his cold behaviour. But his ego did not let him utter a word.

Khairad could have stayed that night there even if she has to stand outside of the house and explained her position before leaving for Hyderabad. Even if Asher refused to believed her words Farida could not have got the opportunity to tell Asher that she has gone with Khiazar. But again who knows what else she could have planned with Khaizar. Asher's scene with Farida was brilliant .
- yeah she could have, but then if one notices, khizar was keeping tabs on where khirad and asher is...he was reporting to farida on asher...and he also knew that khirad reached hyderabad, it seems truck driver was sent by farida/ khizar only? so that khirad is out of the town😭
I almost hated Asher when he told Khairad that she was dead for him when she somehow managed to contact him after her labour started. The pain she suffered - both physically and emotionally
though I know physical pain was nothing when compared to emotional one.
And gall of the man,
he accused her for keeping the truth of their daughter from him.
- that scene, is like OMG🤢😭 khirad in labour and asher just wayyy too cold and cruel there...I thot he was horrible with batool khala too but as always, he just assumed that the calls are for divorce...and he thought he was punishing khirad by not allowing her to ask for divorce and hence legalizing her relationship with khizar what to say🤢😭 oh yeah that reaction from asher on his daughter... but I guess he was in big shock one after the other, wife suddenly back after 4 years, truth of his daughter coming out...I keep feeling that post leap, all those convos he had with khirad in hurt, disgusted tone was a way of extracting a response from her...but khirad was just sooo good in all those scenes, where she was throwing blades at asher...not even caring to explain👏👏👏
