Do not understand this business of statues

Instead of a statue, they could have shown opening a new science laboratory or new spacious wing for the girls's school or even setting up a fund in the name for vasant for meritorious students for further education.. BV writers - Highly disappointed

It reminded me of this movie in which Rajesh Khanna's statue was unveiled in the end for an old age home by Shabana I think.😆
