LOl I swear my ciusins who came from village to UK, it took them years to learn their English and even now it is still not as good as yours. :P

It takes time to learn English especially when you come as an adult. Some of my family members have really good English even though some of them studied in Government school, which is very surprising. That is the area where city kids have advantage over village kids -__-

School matters a lot !!! However, for learning English reading is the best thing. I regret my parents for not making me read when I was a kid. My sis's english is really good because she reads a lot !!!
