Cinevistaas Ltd, makers of many popular shows on television like Krisshna Arjun, Sanjivani, Jersey No. 10, Dill Mill Gaye, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Best Friends Forever and many more will now come up yet another entertainer, a family based show for the youth-based channel, Disney.
The maker has roped in very popular names to be part of the central family in the show. The genre we hear, will be that of a light-hearted family setup.
Veteran actor Sudhir Pandey has been roped in to play the head of the family. Seasoned actor Mahesh Thakur and Nitesh Pandey will play his sons, while noted actresses Renuka Shahane and Maninee De Mishra will play their wives respectively. Aditi Sajwan will play the daughter of the house. Young lad Rohan Shah, Ashu Sharma and Niki Sharma will also be part of the show.
A reliable source states, "The yet untitled show is presently at its pilot stage, and is slated to launch sometime in November (2014). It will be a weekly show, in all probability."
When contacted, Mahesh Thakur who will be seen in Life OK's upcoming show, Mere Rang Mein Rang Ne Wali said, "Yes, it is true that I am part of such a show. But it is too early to talk about it."
Maninee who is presently seen playing the role of Agrima Singh in Diya Aur Baati Hum asked us to call later.
Nitesh Pandey is presently seen in Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara while, Aditi is presently part of Cinevistaas' popular show on Star Plus, Ek Hasina Thi where she portrays the character of Nitya.
We could not get through to Sudhir Pandey and Renuka Shahane.
We tried calling Producer Siddharth Malhotra, but did not get through to him.
