Thanks for the word meaning, now is Jhakaasss, Indian version of Jackass? I have heard this word many times, in context, I make out it means something fantasa?

Hey she was really famous VJ, like Nikhil Chinappa. Guess the channel is revamped so she tried Bollywood.

Jhakaaass - It's a famous Anil Kapoor wala dialogue😆

Okay maybe a different version, Bindaas would mean the same. All in all it means something cool, mind-blowing stuff. Sorry not good with adjectives, hope it is a bit clearer.

Well, iss liye toh ek AMan hamesha zaroori hota hai, who would be ready with an answer with the statistics n all!😉

And AMan is here at your service. Yashi dear, Ruchs is right, you need to get used to the local colorful tongue. Now let me introduce you to the many colors of the slang faadu which should rather be spelled Phaadu (as it has got to do with 'phatna' as in getting torn or burst).

And burst it is, in figurative sense, a phaadu performance means an unprecedented performance, something that bursts all others in comparison.

In literal sense it means bursting of a specific organ in human anatomy. 😆

Now I'll narrate my sorry story of learning the word. It was about the time when I was taking coaching for engineering entrance, you know the trade is very common in India and how it is mostly engineering/medical students imparting the gyaan. So of course you don't expect their lingo to be the least bit polish.

This particular day was supposed to be one of my happiest days, since dear numb-dumb brain decided to make its presence felt. A lengthy algebra problem was solved using coordinate geometry and the solution happened to be shorter than the one proposed by the teacher, as in my excitement I yelled at the top of my voice, my idea of shortening, when finally my teacher caught what I was trying to imply, his eyes went round and wide and he too yelled to the class, "Kya phaadu method bol diya ladki ne".

I was jumping in joy the rest of the day and the moment Daddy came to pick me up, I narrated the entire incident word by word to my daddy once in the car, "And Papa then sir said, Kya phaadu method bol diya ladki ne". My dad cringed, made a devastated face and gasped in horror, "Is this the kind of language your teachers use? Are they idiots. DOn't use that word ever again". (Kya soche the Sardar Khus hoga, sabasi dega?)

And then I had to ask my more knowledgeable friends, where I possibly went wrong. So now you know what it is. 😉
