Well one thing about Stanford is their endowment fund is HUGE, and scholarships are available! I remember when I was in high school, some of the people going to Stanford were going to pay less than what people paid at public schools with a combination of financial aid and scholarships!! And one of the great things about the school other than the campus, and of course the academics, is that they have a very large network, and it really comes in handy...my cousin did her Bachelors and Masters there, and the connections she got were pretty amazing!
But of course, that's nothing compared to having your mom's food and laundry just 15 minutes away from you!!!
LOL so UChi expects all their future students to be funny😆
I used their financial aid calculator- I would get almost nothing. My family falls in the too well off for financial aid but not well off enough to pay me fully through college category. FAFSA and merit is what I'm hoping for.
The connections are what makes Stanford and Ivies stand out- But I'm wondering if it's worth it for undergrad, you know? Especially since I'm definitely planning on grad school, it just seems like I should save my money for that.
Providing I'd get in then, of course.
But we'll see. Come March, I will be writing like a madman.
I forget if you said this- did you grow up in US?
