I too had resolved to not read till the last book. But then I gave up...and first downloaded the ebooks. Then I just read Tyrion's chapter from the first book since he was my favourite on the show...and I just couldnt control myself😆 I had to have the books. And I devoured them as soon as they arrived.

Though I too am dying for the next book but I am ready to wait. Seeing what shit GRRM had planned some 15 years ago (see the letter I posted a few pages back if you havent yet) and seeing how greatly it evolved over the 15 years for the better I am ready to wait! So he can write as & how he pleases😆

Just go for it. Read it. As daenerysnow said its unputdownable ❤️

This isn't the kind of story that accommodates fairy tale like endings such as how the old Sansa used to dream of, hence my curiosity to find out how she would deal with someone like Ramsay Bolton since he is as evil as Joffrey..probably more so, Joffrey is pretty much a wimp compared to Ramsay who is simply psychotic through and through. Im not saying she might survive it, but it could go either way, Sansa for me is difficult to figure out unlike her other siblings and I have a feeling she will be able to manipulate him in some way, rather than being the helpless damsel in distress, which she seems to have left behind..it may be that she plays the game like we saw her do in the Eyrie as she was 'confessing the incident of Lysas fall. I just think it a interesting storyline, especially how Theon/Reek might play into it too.

Catelyn/Roose- sensed a chemistry

Loras/Renly, and Tyrion/Shae were adorable

Complete opposites is what I go for. I just find the traditional romantic relationships eg Robb/talia etc incredibly yawn.
