Their love story was mature and ArMan themselves were shy. That is why the show appealed more to the family audience/women and got high TRPs, not the fangirl/teenagers/young girls audience which is found in abundance online. All the shows which gain crazy fan following are based on same Mills and Boons formula, especially in Gul's shows, or the 'fighting turns to love' wala formula which is inspired by Pride and Prejudice, where they show hero as grey character who is passionately in love with heroine. These are formula love stories which always hit the same target audience. That is why Arvi gained so many online fangirls bcos their love story was also like that, started with fight and turned into passionate love.

Plus ArMan got separated hardly a month into their wedding, show was more realistic and showed lower-middle class life. These are things which attract the TV viewing audience but do not cause online fangirls to swoon.

Zee has all bakwaas shows. I watch only PR and that too I am getting bored waiting for leap to happen. They need a new and fresh lineup.

YHM is another mature love story, but I think it has gained lots of fans online due to couple being together, just like BALH. ArMan got separated very quickly and story became more serious. Nevertheless they did enjoy quite a lot of popularity.

Whatever, I love my ArMan. They were, are, and will always be special. <3
