What if Gauri proves that J is still married to her and did not divorce her. His marriage to Ganga is illegal.

He married Gauri while he was still married to A. After his divorce from A, his marriage to Gauri Becomes legal I think.

He did not divorce her before marrying Ganga.

So now he is living in a bigamous relationship with Ganga.

Gauri's marriage is illegal to begin with.He never legalised their relationship after he got divorce from Anandi.

Just because he got divorce from Anandi that doesn't mean his marriage with Gauri has become legal.

Because at the time of his marriage to Gauri he was legally married to Anandi so his marriage to Gauri has been illegal.

So poor Gauri doesn't ahev a legal standing either

I hope she got a kid and thru kid she can claim her rights.

As much as I found J - A - G interesting and had me return to the show, I always wondered how can he lead ghar sansar with G1 w/o nullifying his marriage with A legally...

How could Singhs haven't got A - J divorced, before itself..why did they wait till such a time , it happened..

Even Anandi, a self respecting girl, that she is, how could she agree to be still tagged as his wife..?

In a hope that he will return to her for sure..?

Ok, Singhs could have that hope...but even Anandi harboured that hope ? 😕

Then too, he was in a bigamous relationship, and now also.

But now as an MLA, he should definitely file for the divorce himself w/o wasting any time., provided his marriage to G1 stands valid.

@bold I am hazy on this point. Tried to clarify in the past with some peeps. Was told that if he gets divorce from first one, second could be considered legal.

But am not sure. Will check.

They all are under the impression that JA child marriage had no legal standing.

Only after JG came to BH Bhairon goes to lawyer for help and they tell that Anandi is legal wife.

There is no way Anandi could divorce him without sending him to jail for bigamy and Anandi didn't want Singhs to suffer anymore

Gauri found out that he could obtain divorce by slandering Anandi but J refused to slander Anandi for divorce

So it continued till Ananid was ready to move on and obtained divorce after mutual consent

They would not have not done any registration and sorts..

That's why G1 planned a grand wedding after divorce naa..

May be to make it legal.

Yup. Got confirmation. J's registered marriage to Gauri stands nullified if he is already married. So looks like he is legally married to Ganga. Quite a fickle character😆
