Their embroidery is also very beautiful.

Oh wow! I love wearing Indian clothes! But I haven't worn a lot of North Indian clothes. Except for churidaars (had to wear that to my dance class). Whenever there is a wedding or something, I have to wear South Indian clothes! I've only worn a proper lehenga like once 😭

Lehengas and chunnis...

I cannot let the breath out though Ruchi... 😭

And not eat or drink, especially drink, anything for at least 2 days before donning said gown 😆

LOL. I know what it looks like Ruchi! Though I don't have an Arnavji to put it on me that way 😆

I just didn't get the chance to wear them often. But I wore enough suits to make up for lehengas, I guess.

ReRe, love your business plan - yes, let's make this happen!!! But please don't lose sleep over it!

The Pakistani clothes here are more for parties or events, so they are in chiffon material (she does sell cotton pieces, but only a few) - so the prices for the party wear start over $150 for the most basic and just go higher depending on how much work is involved. But this lady is really good, you can give her any picture and her "person" in Pakistan will replicate them in probably less than a month.

Asha, Paki clothes definitely have legengha and chudidar/trouser/salwar suits, so they are essentially the same thing as Indian clothes, but their cuts are a little different, and the chiffon fabric used is just amazing compared to the georgette suits in India! I'm not an expert, so maybe there are more differences, but I wouldn't know.

But what's the different between North Indian and South Indian clothes😕 I had never heard of there being a difference...

ReRe, loved that gown!!!

The traditional South Indian outfit for unmarried girls is a half saree. The kind Deepika wore in Chennai Express.

Ugghh! IF is not cooperating. Can't post a pic :(
