I've always been an SRK fan but nowadays I just find him annoying😕 Don't think I've seen any of his movies since Om Shanti Om...

Sadly he's started overacting and it's almost like he's spoofing himself

But do watch Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Great film! Music, cinematography and the way it deals with relations are all very well done. Has a very special character called Bagwati 😆

I agree with U Aami n Ruchi over SRK...I havent seen Jab Tak Hai Jaan n Chennai Express n Ra-One..somehow I cant watch SRK doing overacting in C.Express..
I am Okay with Kal Ho Na Ho n Kkabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham wala SRK...:D

Ok I'll add the movie to my ever-growing list of to-dos that have been recommended to me by the baaraatis - lol you all are great inspirations to try new foods, watch movies, visit places, etc!!!!

Yes, the SRK overacting is outrageous - I liked him in the 90's and early 2000's... But some would say that I'm stuck in the 90's so I don't find anything after that decade that amazing😆

You are not alone Aami... I am still trying to get the image of SRK in CE... He has seriously gone off the deep end where his movie selections are concerned... this is the guy who did Swades... *deep sighs*

After watching the movie (because I was curious to see what made that movie earn so many cr.) now stopped watching movies altogether... this not only made me question SRK's selection but also the larger populations movie preference and my own choices in life... so in a way it provoked deep thoughts...😉

I'm glad I didn't watch CE then!!!

I too can't myself to watch movies these days...I think the ones I had seen had left such a bad taste in my mouth, I don't really want to go through it all over again 😕

Am I the only one here who likes Chennai Express? I've already seen that movie like 10 times, and I laugh crazily every time I watch it.

I am not saying their portrayal of the Tamil culture was accurate or anything, far from it, but I liked the simple message that the movie conveyed, that your world can turn around, you can find the reason for your existence or even find true love at any point in your life. Just because it hasn't happened till now, does not mean it is never going to happen. Impossible things like a 40 year old man from Mumbai falling in love with a 20 something year old girl from a village in Tamil Nadu can happen.

Also, I am a sucker for humor/comedy and will accept it in whichever form it is dished out. Plus, this is one of the few comedy movies with clean comedy. And something that you can comfortably sit and watch with kids. So I was very happy with the movie :)

No offense to anyone :)

Again, I am going to have to disagree with the rest of the bees here. I did not enjoy watching ZNMD. For starters, there were a lot of implied messages in the movie that I am not sure I agree with. But more than that, I just felt the movie was a drag. Especially the second half. It moved at a very languid pace, and I just couldn't wait for the movie to end. It wasn't very crisply shot, in my opinion. But that may just be cuz I am not a great fan of Zoya Akhtar's movie making.
