Mary Kom promos look promising. I loved Priyanka as Meghna in Fashion. She was a cutie pie as Jhilmil in Barfi.

Good roles for women in Bollywood are few and far between. I absolutely enjoyed watching Vidya Balan play Mrs. Bagchi in Kahani and Kangna as Rani in Queen. It's good to see movies where women are not just show pieces or eye candies but have a significant role to play. In fact in all the above mentioned movies those actresses have carried the entire film on their own shoulders. Of course credit also goes to the director and script writer. I hope we get to see more such awesome films in future.

I also liked Tabu in Chandini bar, Sridevi in Sadma and Konkana in Mr & Mrs Iyer.

Oh yes those too. Sridevi was brilliant in Sadma. Gosh I can't forget the way she says "Hariprasad". I had a lump in my throat while watching Chandni Bar. And I also liked Rani in Black. The scene where she calls her mom and tells her she has failed brought tears to my eyes. And also towards the end when her teacher doesn't recognise her coz he is suffering from Alzheimer's. The only other movie I cried watching, apart from Taare Zameen par.

I was totally disappointed with Kareena in Heroine though. I didn't feel for the character at all. It was badly directed too.
