here kamat is gujarathi- famour gujarathi sweets and thali by them -😆

all gujjus now omanis now- converted to muslims and will wear arabian dress- they are given citizen ship

Actually our Sultan ,he build this country- it was under his able leadership Oman progressed-

U know who was his mentor and guide- Our former President Dr.Shankar dayal Sharma- It is because of him this country got a great ruler-

Sultan came to pune etc etc and was his student-

And later Dr Shankar dayal sharma became the president Of India and he visited this country-

and the visit is still celebrated as the most magnificently and lavishly organised event in the region in recent memory.

The Sultan gave his teacher a royal welcome-he personally attended everything from reception , events etc etc- usually sultan will never come to receive anyone- Queen elizabeth, US Presidents all received by his ministers-

but this was an exceptional case- He decorated his country with his teacher's pictures everywhere- and it was really a big surprise for the people here- usually only Sultan's pictures allowed only-rest not allowed -

People waited to see their Sultan's Teacher- and who indirectly helped their country to progress -

The clever ruler used the opportunity to emphasize the importance of education and how Teachers' can create a change in our lives-

Kamat is Konkani no...I mean Saraswaths..😕

My hubby is a Kamath...Mangalorean.

Kamat w/o 'H' also... mostly found in Mumbai...
