Balika Vadhu aired its first episode on 21st july 2008, and yet again it's a proud moment for Balika Vadhu family and also celebrations time for Colors as the show completes 1600 episodes today. At a time when some shows wraps up too soon, it's surely an achievement for the Director and the team to have reached a milestone like this.
We got in touch with the talented actor Shashank Vyas who plays Jagya on the show, talking about his show, he shared with us,"First of all it's all about the hardwork and dedication of all the actors towards the show and it feels great to be a part of a cult show. Jaise 1600 hue hai, 2000 bhi ho jayenge." Also when asked what message he has for the fans of the show, the good looking actor thanked the fans of the show by saying,"The love you have given us till now, please continue to give us the same amount of love. Honestly it's their love, because if they don't notice our hard work and don't like our show, leave aside 1600 episodes one can't even complete 6 episodes. So it's all because of their love only that we are here and this love will take us forward as well."
We also spoke to handsome actor Siddharth Shukla who is portraying the character of Shiv in the show, talking about the same he said,"It's an amazing feeling to have shot 1600 episodes for the show in today's time, simply because nowadays there are so many shows these days that when a show doesn't do well or doesn't get good TRP's or doesn't do well it's given up by the channel simply because they need something new and better. But our show has maintained what it started with, people still look forward to watch our show and they still keep it up to the same level of respect so it's a phenomenal thing and also deserving. So I feel proud to be a part of the show, it's not one of the show which is dragging but it has substance, there is also a message out everyday, so our writers are at it. And also it's phenomenal for a director to be working for so long on the show, I believe he is the only director who has worked on a show for so many episodes. So it's all because of the passion our director carries. Talking about the message he has for the fan's of the show, he shared,"Thanks for all the love. To everyone who has been watching our show regularly and also commenting when we slipping away, also appreciating us when we doing well, everything is taken into account so it means a lot to us. Whatever they say doesn't go unaccounted. So thank you for all the love and all the support and we hope to continue giving our best."
