Personally, I had seen a few episodes with the new guy, and the story to me seemed to progress in the right direction. Both the artists were performing well too. They should have given it another couple of months before taking the drastic action to bring VD back.
Though in my opinion, the biggest mistake they did was not make Madhubala a superstar. That seemed to be what the audience was awaiting. At least I was. And then the dynamics would have been something to watch...
But in this serial, egos of actors overpowered everything, and the lady was left holding the baby (literally).
And the rest will soon be history...😃
Story has always been the KING. If a pretty face is all that is required, then RR on Colors should not be faring poorly. And Madhubala should have topped the charts.
BV🥳. They don't care for TRP, for actor egos. Just steamroll on. They know they have a good story and there is still lots of material left to relate...Anandi's growth being the main.

When we total outsiders could see it very clearly, what is that which stopped the stakeholders from preventing the show going downhill!! Maybe a lesson for all - especially the Actors!! they cannot hold scriptwriters to ransom using their fanbase - Is it actors lacking faith in the abilities of scriptwriters or viceversa
It is only after I started watching BV, that I started reading more abt the people behind telly serials esp the creative team of writers and whoever has conceptualized the script/characters.
From my understanding, among all the current writers Mr.PS seems to have penned powerful and appealing women centric stories be it his astitva, saat phera, jyoti, Bv even the sibling story has a woman sarpanch who has a mind of her own..
Just a hypothetical question 😳 If Mr PS was given the authority to turn around MB what would he have done (ofcourse one needs to believe in the characters/story they write).. people would have ranted that he will make MB a copy of A - but then it is never the case with any of his women characters - they seem to have their own unique traits..
btw have seen Mr.PB in the credits of MB 😉
