With IPL coming to an end, lot of interesting concepts will hit channels across.

Now, Tellychakkar.com was the first to report about Karan Singh Grover joining hands with Gul Khan (producer at 4 Lions Films) to co produce projects on Indian television.

KSG, as the actor is lovingly called, did move out as the protagonist of Gul's show Qubool Hai on Zee TV, but later returned to the project to overlook things at the creative and production level.

Now we hear the dynamic Gul-KSG duo will soon come up with a serial on SAB TV.

Cuts in a source: "The show will be an adaptation of the popular Hollywood serial, Modern Family for which the scripting has already begun and the cast of the show will be finalized in another 2 months."

Armed with this bit of information we tried connecting with Karan but he remained unavailable for comment.

When we buzzed Gul she claimed to be busy in meetings.

We called Gorky, Producer of Four Lions Films and husband of Gul Khan and he said, "Well, there are a lot of shows being pitched to many channels including SAB TV and one of them is an adaptation of Modern Family. But I cannot confirm if the show will air on SAB TV or not. I'd be happy if it does though. With regards to Gul joining hands with Karan Singh Grover to start a production house, you would have to check with Gul but as far as I know, there is no progress on that front."

SAB TV head Anooj Kapoor did not respond to our sms.
