I feel bad but when Tanveer was about to kill Najma, you know the scenes where she was following her , I couldn't stop laughing because it served up some C grade horror film realness 😆

Remembering Asad and Zoya..

I don't know why but Zoya always rubs the the wrong
way. In a strange judgemental streak, I sent her to
apologize to Akram for running away from their
wedding. And she went missing. She does have a talent
for getting into trouble.

I found her drugged and being forced to marry Akram.
The fury I felt on having misjudged Akram for a decent
man was undescribable. How could any man force
himself upon a girl? But I had to blame myself too.

As I carried her, battered, bruised and unconscious
back home, I prayed that she would recover from this.
She clung to me tight, trustingly. It felt nice to be
depended upon, and she didn't feel heavy at all.
I feel furious that she is hurt so badly. But why?
Humanity? Community spirit? What is it about this girl
that irks me so? Would she forgive me for sending her
to Akram?

Little did I know that this would be the only time she
would call me by my name... and I never returned her
mother's earring.
