There is a theory that he liked Amrita. And it does come off that way many times, especially this week.He said to her in an episode about two weeks back that he didn't protest the wedding because he hated her. But he doesn't say what the reason is.Then this week, he says in a fight that yea he told Avi not to marry her because she wasn't worthy of him and almost says still isn't worhty...but stops himself. Now I'm pretty sure that's what he said...that she wasn't worthy--or maybe it can be that she didn't deserve him, which would make it more so that he thought Amrita is too good for Avi.But the problem is that his outburst there doesn't fit with the theory that he liked Amrita earlier. Neither would it fit his character for him to tell his friend not to marry a girl simply because he also likes her. He has not denied at all that he discouraged Avi from marrying her. He pretty much accepts that he told Avi not to marry Amrita. If it's because he liked her, it is a mark on his character and he isn't a good friend to Avi.
Well it will make for interesting discovery of what actually happen, like you said it doesn't fit his character to tell his friend not to marry a girl cause he doesn't like her. Too immature
