I have read Two States. It was the only Chetan Bhagat book that I liked. Though the characterization was stereotypical. Caricatures, it was a funny book. The book had it moments.

Poor guy was a scoundrel. He had to die. I mean if you think realistically there was no chance in hell he could have survived after kidnapping the daughter of a high profiler. It would have been ridiculous if they showed them married and living happily ever after. This was a match that couldn't have happened. It was doomed from the beginning. And it was not just the class difference.

yep, I agree.

Imitiaz has made a lot of changes to the original story it seems, cuz the female in the tele-series gets kidnapped a day before her marriage...I also think her relatives (dad or brother) were involved (not sure though).

@Kookie - my friends have been raving about Highway on Facebook .. apparently Alia was really good. Someone posted Hasee Toh Phasee was a fun romcom .. it's on my watchlist .. hopefuly I will get to it sometime.

I started reading 2 states a month ago.. then became busy and stopped reading. What can I say .. its a typical Chetan Bhagat book. I hope the movie is made like Kai Po Che was .. and not like 3 idiots.

@Resh: Here she was kidnapped when she got involved in a robbery. He was a bloody criminal, a murderer who had already murdered three men. He was a problematic character. More of an anti hero.
