Well he was never shown then nor now to have taken child marriage seriously. Even now the image is a big thing for him ... Only change this time is its not for the society but for him. He does not like loserly feel. Even now its not commitment or love that is making him feel or miss Paakhi - to his knowledge that is.

I understand Anshuman's current feelings... the sacrifice that paakhi did by leaving him is what hurts him since he didn't expect this from a betrayed wife. If Anshuman hasn't taken the child marriage seriously then why didn't he ignore it ?
