I'm not sure about that theory ... it does apply to some extent, because people tend to stay with channels if they find them interesting enough. When I was hooked to DMG and MJHT, I hardly ever switched to any other channel ... that's how I saw bits of RBO and LNMDJ. When it was IPK, I watched Maryada and SGP alongside. Now with Rangrasiya, I watch BV off and on ... I haven't taken either to MB or BI though, and neither to Uttaran which comes after it ... I hope that one goes off air and we get a decent new show . But I watch CNWK and IGT regularly on Colors too ... so my Colors viewing has gone up since RR started.

Anyway, am just happy that RR is going up slowly and steadily, despite the big Taj Mahal wedding this week on QH ... was worried about that. Now with the wedding drama happening here, hope it draws in some more viewers, this time the TRP aunties.

So NB's deduction on the leading show being an established one helps theory is actually correct.

Anyway i hope both RR and BI keeps on increasing and steadies above 2.2-3 within a month or so... its good for both shows as well as the channel..

Anyway I am glad the RR is without fail increasing, after the 3rd week *touchwood* we have not faced even a 0.1 drop! thank god!😳

No, trps are not easy to fathom ... if they were, all shows would be hits. 😆

YRKKH is 8.3 from8.2 last week . 😆Star plus shows are like doordarshan ...the only channel entire india watches 😆 This show in its 5 years has always been top 5 . Naman hai poori team ko aur rajan shahi jiko...

Simple observation - an episode is 'light' as in wonderful when its a Paro focused episode, or even an episode the essence of it is more Paro and an episode where the final thoughts we have and carry away from it is about Paro it is a good episode..

And when its not having that very essence that is Paro its not a good episode..

ex:
Monday - excellent episode
Tuesday - quite ok
Wednesday - sucked a little except for the Paro-Maitili scene
Thursday - very good with an exceptionally good precap
Friday - I can already tell it will surpass the whole lot of them this week

I find that every time an episode gives decent focus on Paro, the episode seems better ... not just because its Sanaya, but because one can connect better.

Sumer was good today ... I liked his drunk act. Very few actors can do that without making me cringe.

hahah di! see great minds think alike! 🤣

ok jokes apart i think it has NOTHING to do with Sanaya or needing to see her more maybe except that she actually plays the character convincingly so that the emotions written by the CVs come across perfectly.
Its simply that character 'Paro' is like light.. she is a delightful human being.. that is what it comes down to..
so whenever the essence of the episode is her i end up coming out of the episode in a good mood..

I LOVED Sumer today!! he was super cute lol.. the things he said to his masa! 🤣 i am glad he is not out and out negative! he is fun, lol..

I agree with both you and diya but yaar lets be real ...all characters have to be shown so that they get their space too as well as the leads get their breaks ...otherwise something will give .

It was such an awesome episode , we have had 2 good ones this week ...we are bound to get some average ones too. Honestly for me the friday episode which had that extended dining table scene was a bore more than the tuesday - wednesday episode this week.

Umesh who plays sumer holds his scene so well .. He was so good in the last drunk scene . We have such a fine bunch of supporting cast in this show. 😃
