Bahnni: i love Nolan movies..he is awesome
But Rohit Shetty should leave him alone..as should have Amir..he tried to copy Prestige (concept) and The Dark Night (the chase sequences) and failed miserably

And as Anita said..he and Sallu make crores and crores from flying cars and south movie remakes 🤢..they arent going to change

Bahnni: yep the neck is distracting..It almost feels someone has stretched it

GOT: u can skip a bit of the scenes..only problem is realising which ones are imp and which nude scenes arent

Ami, at what episode, do u think GOT starts to suck you in? In OB, I was told by episode 4 and by that time I was intrigued as to what was going to happen next, violence notwithstanding!

i was by 3rd-4th epi..by then i was curios enough to know what will happen to Starks at Kings landing..I almost gave up mid way 4th season as a whole lot of people I like die but then continued like addict
Heck I ended up reading the next season ka book too 😆

I have been told to read the books instead coz they are considered far better. That is always the case usually too. Was the book any better? Don't have time to read at all these days

I always like the book more than the show/movie..they are more informative and its usually difficult to catch all the elements on screen..but shows/movies give faces to characters and a few things looks visually amazing
If u dont have time then chuck the books..they are huge

Oberoi Udaiviilas is stunning...
thats the thing with Rajasthan..the palace hotels are all grand esp in Udaipur..both the ones they shortlisted are from Udaipur
Oberoi Rajvilas in Jaipur is another awesome one..

That might just be the start. There is plenty more to come if the first episode I saw was anything to go by. Depends on your tolerance level coz some have infact walked away but then again know some who not only watch it, but recommend it too.

Ami, as long as the visual presentation is similar to the book, I am ok. The books are definitely much better but I don't like when they change stuff written in the book 🤢

Have been for a dinner to Taj Palace in Udaipur way before marriage and it was beautiful. Remember being ferried to and fro to enter the hotel. Have not been to the Oberoi one but it seems to be fairly spellbinding. Will check out the Rajvillas too.

Anita: are u continuing or giving up.the have changed a couple of things from the book. Dunno y. The show is way more sensationalised than the book. the cut down in season 2 but brought it back in s3 on public demand i overall prefer first 2 seasons over the rest. by now its more of I need to know going to happen
