Count me as someone who actually likes the softspoken demeanour of Siddharth Shukla. But he's not a very good actor. I guess that hasn't stopped many others from getting their Bollywood break so why should it be a problem for him.
Honestly I'd much rather have Mishal Raheja or even KSG get a break before I'd give one to Siddharth Shukla.

Sunanda always claimed that she had been a successful career woman before she met Tharoor. Why couldn't she simply go back to that? Argh! So frustrating.

NB: Me too. He is too suave... too everything! And somehow I could never find him trustworthy. I always had a niggling doubt that he is too good to be true.

@Swati: I think we Indian women have been conditioned to be like this. We have been conditioned to be a part of a man's life, our existence incomplete without a man. This has been drilled/ instilled in us since time immemorial. And no matter how independent, educated, liberated a woman is when she meets a man who sweeps her off her feet with his gift of glib, the subconscious takes over and common sense takes a back seat.

It's not just Indian women. I've seen women around the world make complete fools of themselves over a man. I guess our rational side totally shuts down when fascination for a man takes over. Seen this over and over - academically brilliant women throwing away their careers and accomplishments over relationships with abusive or otherwise unworthy men.

Onu - thanks for the BSB fanpage - I've been loling over all the drooling comments! Hon, if you think this is bad check out the fact that even a third rate bosta pocha show like Rashi on Zee TV has fan pages. OMG!
But let me tell you - even though I became a member of I-F to check up information about Kayamath - an Ekta maiyya show, my introduction to the pankhi phenomenon was through the fan page for Ekhane Akash Neel in Orkut. They were a pretty active bunch, posting episode, fanmade videos, even visiting Ekhane Akash Neel sets regularly.

NB: What the heck did I just watch? Thank you so much for posting that awesome, mind blowing audition clip of Ashish Sharma. He is so good. He has this shimmering intensity, just under the surface, barely under control. And that makes me a superb actor. It is so easy to get carried off but it is admirable and sign of a really good actor who knows where to draw the line. Being a theater actor also helped him to hone his acting skills. He is subtle and shows just the right amount of aggression without over doing it.

cting isn't really everyone's cup of tea. He has the talent. It is sad he never got the recognition he deserves. I hope Lady Luck would smile at him now with RR and bring him the fame and recognition he deserves.

For the life of me I can't understand why ST uncle considered GC. He is so stiff and has a very limited repertoire of expressions. All throughout that Mahi show, he had only one expression on his face.

Rudra's a complex character who would go through so many changes in his character , he would be forced to acknowledge feelings and emotions he never thought he was capable of feeling. He is an extremely physical man. His body language is just right.

He is doing such a good job, I really want him to do well in his career.

Haha... glad you found it entertaining. Achha this Baha's bor is on steroid or what? He looks weird nowadays. I know he was a rage during his Ekhane Aakash Neel days. Looking at him now, I wonder what happened to him. I can't stand his character in that Baha show.

Ei Rashi is quite popular. My Mum started watching media res but thankfully gave up on it pretty soon. 😆 All my neigbours watch the show avidly.

well said onu 👏 .
Aasish is a complete package of gorgeous manly looks plus talent .An all rounder,DAM i love his perfect rajhistani accent as he is some born rajhistani!!!
And completely agree about GC ,i would have never watched RR if it had GC ,it seems like some one has entered a stick through his throat up to his feet😆 hez just so straight and stiff ,and such a uni-expressionist i really don't get why hez adored ,bheyya was better than him when initially as ASR.

Rishi looks gross these days. He looked so good during the Ekhane Akash Neel days - total legit hot. These days he looks like a kumropotash. And EAN was such a lovely show - so beautifully characterized and such a treat to watch (even though Aparajita Ghosh Das is kind of annoying).

I remember when Rashi first started - I was in India then. It had a very good premise - young village girl's coming of age tale - then they made a hash of it with hate marriage and perpetually scheming m-i-l and what not. I guess people watch the show for Dolly Basu's hilarious character.

That girl who's the lead though - O eM Gee - how the f**k did she become a lead? The one thing about Bengali shows is that the male leads may be fugly and totally blah but the girls are all pretty. This one though - eeks!!
