Happy New Year Sama😃

I trust you when you say these were SI's words😉 I was just referring to the interview in the context of RR. Female protagonists facing creatives mood swings at the cost of maintaining the male protagonist's character 😕 has mostly been the case in most desi shows? I just hope they show Paro as a strong character able to stand up to Rudra.

FIM happens in every actor's interview and she is no exception. Sanaya's on screen persona has always interested me more than her off screen. To me, she definitely rose above the script and made Khushi endearing. JJ on the other hand was a disaster, this role however seems to be right up her alley and I am sure with the right team she will be able to deliver another memorable character.

I trust you too to understand them but still just did not want anyone to quote someone else to answer me back 😃 Really male protagonist's are not butchered ??... That got to be the joke in DesiBox Savvy ... Females remains more or less the same species ... To maintain their mahanta everyone else's intelligence is insulted be it the fictional character around them or that of the viewers ... Male on the other hand toh changes his kingdom ... They start with a high and then are non recognizable the moment they fall in love. There are few despite the changes who are able to at least hold on to the aura ... Rest goes for the toss.

Is it the role/SI or your own love for the type of lovestories ... the type of characters?? Cause if it was about rising above the script one should be able to do that when script is really in need.

I will never understand all you IPK-SI lovers constant insistence on the script being weak/butchered for KKG. A character which had everything jot down from hair to toe. Be it looks or dialogues or mannerism. Par kya karein Khushi ki har galti creatives ki ... After all it was played by a hardworking professional who thinks love scenes is her forte 😃 Jai ho heavy breathing ki !!!!! 👏 and the new addition of RR - the neat triangles

Savvy... The channel honcho says rudra was conceptualised first... So am worried that they have left the female character for leeway... So San maybe right in what she says...

Also trp aunties like crying female characters ...not strong ones... So the tide could turn any way...

Hola everyone, Celebrating the arrival of new year with sister-in-laws family and watching Kannada movies with the whole family. I am still a newbie when it comes to Kannada classics so browsing IF in between the movie breaks.

So read the new interview of Saurabh. Ash remember what I said about cost vs returns in our private PM. This is what I too think Saurabh is thinking. They have literally blown up expenditure and now if the returns are not there then it would be a colossal flop. I admire the guts of the channel to push the envelope but Colors already had an setback in terms of 24 and doubtful how long they can sustain the show if they don't get the required ratings.

And suddenly the show seems to be Rudra-centric. What he does/How he does/What makes him click. So I am quite certain the strong girl Paro is going to be a distant dream like the redemption of ASR that was promised. And the main thing I feel is the violence factor would be a detrimental in the show striking an chord with audience a fact which most of my neighbors have mentioned since the promos went on air. I think the huge reason why IPK clicked with both masses and classes was because the feel good atmosphere kept the TRP audience happy and the intelligent M&B sketch of ASR and Khushi kept the class audience happy.

Humne aap se pehle ki kaha tha Dr. S - this show ain't going to be my cup of tea. I am firmly out. Maybe will be giving a dekho once in a while but nope can't stand the torture of girl at the hands of Rudra.

Oh free-fall after 6 months is a must for any soap and it affects all characters, but it always seems to start with the female protagonist and ends finally with the male protagonist but yes they are butchered too. As for IPK, whenever there needed to be a change in pace, the axe came down on Khushi, mostly. The scene where Shyam was brought back after being thrown out, was there really no other way than for Khushi to instantly forgive and get him back.

I think Heineken summed it up best, for most of us IPK was the connection back into desi soaps after a long time. Was it perfect - hell no it was far from it but because of the same reason mentioned above we accepted it warts and all!!

The last few sentences has to do something with SI's interviews or something I guess but it went over my head, as I said off screen tamasha he said/she said never interests me so I will pass.

this sums up things for me as well...sanaya irani should stop giving interviews for a while...of late, she is coming across as a high headed, arrogant woman...which probably she is in AD...but do i care, ...no and yes, no...as long as i just watch her onscreen...coz she does act well...not superlative all the time, but quite good n improving since mjhht days...; and yes as it kinda spoils the onscreen effect for me ...
