Question for the informed, does the makers of woriginal bitiya's new show pulled the name out of a hat or does it have anything to do with that Mehta dude's movie which is sitting in his closet for many years now? If it does word on the grapevine at that time was lot of "rasiya" in that movie :) Rasiya and prime time desi TV???

Aisa kya? There be an unreleased movie with the same name? Soap titles for the most part seem to be inspired from BW movies or songs so it could be the case?

Actually in the initial speculation, the makers said that it would be a passionate intense love story and now it seems to be of a widow trying to break free the social customs and sniffling rules. The name seems to have been pulled randomly or may be the channel did some changes as too much or 'rasiya' is not going to be okay-ed by the IBC. I doubt there is will be too much of 'rasiya' here but rona dhona and regressive things maybe which is why me having second thoughts on this soap now. There seems to be a press conference and that should give a clear picture of what the story is going to be.

Just checking out forums on a lazy saturday and peeked into 'IPK-EBP' forum. Seems like after the marriage is done, Shlok will now disclose to Aastha that he never loved her and the marriage means nothing to him and now Aastha is stuck with the regressive household. *facepalm* *headdesk* and everything in between. Why oh why you need to name the show IPK when 'Aastha' would have been a good name for the show as this show is not about pyar but about a girl who gets ditched by the husband. Stupid SP.

BTW the twist was expected from beginning but they completely mis-mashed the character of Shlok by showing him as a lover boy and head over heels in love with Aastha and now this 360 degree flip is not going to be liked by the audience. Seems like SP is in bit of pressure with respect to the TVTs stuck at the same 1+ point. They started this show with much fanfare even saying that it will exceed the original show but 3 months down the lane, it is nowhere near.

Yup a very humble and moving farewell speech. I was so glued to the TV that my Arnavji just gave up on me and bought us naan and paneer butter masala for lunch - He knew that there was no way I was going to get up and cook lunch. 😆😆😆

BTW Sachin was awarded Bharat Ratna yesterday.
