So Yeh Hai Mohabbatein is about an infertile girl who falls for the small girl Ruhi who lives with her divorced father.

Ishitha is an madrasi brought up in Delhi who is an dentist. She is infertile and can't have kids. She seems to be an only girl for her parents. The parents are really good - fit the role of Madrasi people who have settled in North. Mother wants to get daughter married somehow.

Rahul is an CEO who had gone through divorce and the settlement is to happen. Both Rahul and Ishita's family are neighbors and they have the usual tussle between neighbors. All the characters are good. Special mention goes to the 'Suprabhatham' that comes in the beginning of the episode. A thing I have seen in almost all south Indian homes.

So far looks good provided they don't overdo the things. Suddenly Ekta seems to be churning out good shows one after other.

Exactly right. That one point was damn good. And really loved that Ishitha is a strong girl who accepts her faults and doesn't try to keep any one in dark. Good characterization. And Karan Patel looks good in clean shaven look.

Thx Sarada for the Recap. Had seen couple of episodes of Banoo Mai. Thought the FL used to ham a bit. I guess Ekta plans to balance the heavy topic of divorce and remarriage, by adding the Punjabi Vs Madrasi jung.

Yup and the characters are pretty strong. Ishitha is no weeping girl - She accepts her faults and tries to find happiness in her own way. Good characters always makes the show interesting. And Ekta no matter what any one says, has an eye for detail. She gets her costumes and setup prefect everytime. Loved the way Ishitha's house was decorated and the mom has the traditional tamil thali. These small points make show watching an enjoyable experience.
