Number of views is how many times a person has clicked on the picture. Refreshing can also take the number up. It's just a number not a unique count of clicks hence deceptive. It normally doesn't distinguish between one person viewing the poster and a single fan viewing the picture multiple times.

I checked the properties of that photograph and it has been saved in november 2012😃
