Actually whatever SBS/SBB segments I watched of JA, the actress does come across as a very good person. Her eyes are really expressive and there was once a segment on her necklaces and chains and it seems Ekta got very known people from Rajasthan to make the same and yes the authentic look is really good.

Regarding the creative liberty then I think all the PH are now doing it. Gul has twisted the entire concept of a valid nikaah in QH and is moving her story ahead. And this coming from a muslim women who proclaimed that she is doing this serial to break the misconceptions around muslims in India. So JA twisting little wars and fights is okay enough. As long as they don't create alternate history(like having extra children/wives who are not there) then it shouldn't be too much of an issue. After all Mahabharat too after 3 yrs of ground work showed so many bloopers in the first one week. I think just because it is Ekta, we kind of feel that she is going to do the multiple marriage and leads separating but after seeing all the PHs work, I have to say, Ekta does know how to do her work and move on.

My thoughts after FFing to that scene - they should have provided the poor girl with stilts. Or at least a platform to stand on. Completely unfair on her to have to look WAAAY up like that, and have the rain get into her eyes for the duration of the shot.

Somehow I suspect that wasn't what the director wanted to convey. 😉

That is what I too felt. Shenu is way too short for Avinash. They should have taken a taller actress or at least given her a stool to stand on. But yesterday's episode was good. Shenu finally is getting into the character of a simple and innocent girl. She was quite good in the first few scenes when she is scared shit after the molestation attempt and even her breakdown scene was decent enough. Then the good girl she is, she wants to thank Shlok but he completely snubs her.

The family scene and the dad calling up Niranjan to convey his thanks were all nice scenes. So after the director change happened, I am seeing good improvement in the story, the title song is much better and the background music is more in sync with the scenes. And whoever is the dialogue writer is writing good dialogues, like the mom was saying yesterday to Aastha to come and eat as she made 'varan baath' and 'varan baath' is the traditional maharastrian lunch/dinner thing.

BTW there was a seat belt clipping scene too, so you have all the iconic scenes being repeated here. And now Aastha and Shlok are going on a trip wherein they end up sharing a single room(like Nainital trip of Arnav and Khushi).

The moment he holds her as she gets down from the closet.. almost an assurance that she is real and no longer a mirage, an assurance that he has not been hallucinating about feeling her presence, an assurance that she is in front of him flesh and blood, squashing the nagging feeling that he might never see her again.. lasts for a glorious few seconds before the barricades come up and both of them retreat to their respective corners😃

Savs, was episode 57 an Maha episode for you guys? Or did they split up the Maha episode again into 2 this time also.

Psy, the camera angle that they focus on when bitiya and bitwa 2.0 are in a frame is really to be improved on. When she is talking ( at least in the couple of episodes I have watched), you can never see his full face, his reactions and she ends up most of the time craning her neck !!😕

Savs, the reason is Avinash is quite tall and Shenu seems to be average height. You can make it out when they are close to each other. If the show was in making for 8 months, then they should have chosen a better matching pair. That being said, I think they can use stool for the scenes when both are talking to each other - Have seen Sanaya and Barun do that so many times. Now the director has changed Sri, it is some Wasim and Arshad Khan and so the camera work is much better than the beginning.

Psy, for the record I have no issue with the pairing. In fact they fit into the classic mould of tall hero and petite heroine with all the innumerable lifts that I am sure are to follow😛 The way the camera focuses on them, the BG music etc is something I am usually tune to when watching a scene and hence the observation😃

Actually the one thing the EBP team has not imitated or rather copied is the lifts. I believe we had the Guest house episode classic lift around this time in the previous show. I somehow expected them to do at least one lift by this time but nope, no lifts here. Will they do at least one?
