The show doesn't go much into detail about this, mainly because the main character's father is killed within the first five episodes (spoiler alert, sowwie) because of terrorists and they flee right away but now they're going back to the terrorist/Kashmir track and it's getting really interesting! I know that the leads will be going to Kashmir again in the future track. You know, this is the first Hindi show to be shot in Kashmir for so many days?

In the beginning of IPK, I mainly started for Sanaya because I used to watch MJHT off and on and I wanted to start a solid Indian show and I always liked SI, even though I didn't know her that much. DON'T KILL ME GUYS cuz at first I didn't like the male lead opp her. I'm like "Who's this?" but then the show started and people were using avis and stuff and he looked cute in them so I asked my friend (AishuHiBawari) who watched the show and she told me it was good and that the actor's name was Barun Sobti.

Sooo I started the show with the Teej episodes late summer 2011 and I LOVED it. I thought SI was a brilliant actress, BS was really cute but needed to improve in acting skills because he sometimes looked emotionless to me. Then I realized that that was just ASR's character. After that, I went back and watched all the previous episodes and caught up. After the 'sorry' scene, I honestly thought both were doing equally brilliant acting wise. Towards the end of the show, I felt that SI overreacted sometimes but that could just be Khushi's character and I felt that BS underacted sometimes. But again, that could have just been ASR's character?

And my sad answer to your question is that they both did equally well, sorry, no controversy Z 🤣 I could never choose, though I'll admit that in the beginning I thought SI was a little better. That one scene - the falling builiding one, when she fired at ASR, she was AMAZING. BS is too though<33 Esp some scenes he really shined.
